Lake Effect Snow Warning issued January 14 at 9:50AM EST until January 16 at 1:00AM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations
between 6 and 12 inches.
* WHERE...Northern Erie and Southern Erie Counties.
* WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snowfall amounts are expected
over the northeastern part of Erie County. Snowfall rates of up to
1-2" per hour will be possible at times. Winds gusting as high as
35 mph Tuesday afternoon near the lakeshore.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
