Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued January 10 at 4:25AM HST until January 10 at 5:30AM HST by NWS Honolulu HI
At 424 AM HST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Napili-Honokowai to Haleakala National Park, moving
west at 10 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Kahului, Honokohau, Haliimaile, Kipahulu, Wailuku, Makawao, Paia,
Keokea, Olowalu, Wailea, Waihee, and Kaanapali.

This is a DANGEROUS SITUATION. These storms are producing widespread
wind damage across Maui, with numerous measured wind gusts of 60
mph. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy structure and stay away from
windows.
