Lake Effect Snow Warning issued January 8 at 9:30PM EST until January 9 at 4:00PM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations
between 2 and 4 inches.
* WHERE...Crawford and Southern Erie Counties.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Visibilities will fluctuate and may drop below 1/4 mile
in the heavier snow bands. Travel could be difficult. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Cold conditions will continue with wind chill
values in the single digits.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
