Winter Storm Warning issued January 6 at 9:59AM EST until January 7 at 4:00AM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Additional snow accumulations between
4 and 6 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze.
* WHERE...Portions of central and southern Delaware and northeast
Maryland.
* WHEN...Until 4 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
will impact the morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow, heavy at times, will continue this
morning likely coming down at 1 to 2 inch per hour rates at times.
Some sleet and freezing rain
may mix in this afternoon as precipitation begins to lighten. It
will then change back to all snow before gradually tapering off to
night.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for
