Winter Storm Warning issued January 6 at 3:59AM CST until January 6 at 12:00PM CST by NWS Lincoln IL
* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1 inch or less
across much of the area...with 2 to 3 inches along and south of
I-70. Winds gusting 20 to 30 mph.
* WHERE...All of central Illinois along and south of a Macomb...to
Lincoln...to Danville line.
* WHEN...Until noon CST today.
* IMPACTS...Plan on snow-covered and slippery road conditions. Areas
of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The
hazardous conditions will impact the morning commute.
