Cold Weather Advisory issued January 5 at 11:34AM CST until January 6 at 10:00AM CST by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills from 12 to 20 degrees expected.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas.
* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 10 AM CST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with
prolonged exposure.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
