Snow Squall Warning issued January 3 at 4:39PM EST until January 3 at 5:15PM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 439 PM EST, a hazardous snow squall was located along a line from
over Trafford to over Upper St. Clair, or along a line from near
Monroeville to near Bethel Park, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow and gusty winds leading to
blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts
up to 35 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially hazardous
within minutes.

Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Monroeville, McMurray,
Greensburg, McKeesport, Jeannette, Gastonville, West Mifflin,
Baldwin, Upper St. Clair, Murrysville, Scott Township, Whitehall,
South Park Township, Munhall, Cecil-Bishop, Jefferson Hills and
North Versailles.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 70 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 46 and 57.
Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 50 and 57.
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 59 and 83.

Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are
expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden
whiteout conditions.

Consider avoiding or delaying travel until the snow squall passes
your location. If you must travel, use extra caution and allow extra
time. Rapid changes in visibility and slick road conditions may lead
to accidents.
