Snow Squall Warning issued January 3 at 2:26PM EST until January 3 at 2:45PM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 226 PM EST, a snow squall was located along a line from near
Clarion to over Harmony Township, or along a line from near Clarion
to over Aliquippa, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow and gusty winds leading to
blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts
up to 35 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially hazardous
within minutes.

Locations impacted include...
McCandless Township, Cranberry, Moon Township, New Castle, Butler,
Franklin Park, Oil City, Aliquippa, Beaver Falls, Monaca, Clarion,
Knox, Rimersburg, Hampton Township, Economy, Ellwood City,
Ambridge, Wexford, Homeacre-Lyndora and New Brighton.

This includes the following highways...
Parkway North between mile markers 11 and 13.
Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 36 and 67.
Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 68 and 109.
Interstate 376 between mile markers 19 and 53...and
near mile marker 56.
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 5 and 37.

Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are
expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden
whiteout conditions.

Reduce your speed and turn on headlights! During snow squalls, the
visibility may suddenly drop to near zero in whiteout conditions.
