As we ring in the New Year we hope everyone is focused on being a good neighbor regarding your own celebration. Many will be in their homes with children, pets and individuals looking for peace and quiet while others may be out and about. The Village of Volente noise and fireworks ordinances remain in effect. Fireworks are NOT permitted within the village limits. Please do not use 911 to report fireworks usage that is not an immediate fire or emergency. Use the non emergency number ( 512) 974-0845, Option 3.
