Description
Special Weather Statement issued December 29 at 1:24PM EST by NWS Melbourne FL
At 124 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles northeast of Saint Augustine Beach to 7
miles north of Pierson to near Inverness Airport. Movement was
southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Deltona, Daytona Beach, Port Orange, Sanford, and Apopka.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
