High Wind Watch issued December 28 at 9:43PM EST until December 30 at 4:00PM EST by NWS Buffalo NY
* WHAT...Southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
possible.
* WHERE...Erie, Niagara, Orleans, and Genesee Counties.
* WHEN...From Sunday evening through Monday afternoon. Period of
strongest winds most likely early Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds may blow down trees and power lines.
Scattered power outages are possible. Travel may be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.
Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates. Secure or
shelter objects in a safe location prior to the onset of the strong
winds.
