Special Weather Statement issued December 24 at 9:58PM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ
Temperatures are expected to drop below freezing overnight. In
many areas, roads are still wet from the precipitation that fell
earlier in the day on Tuesday and then melted. This combination
will lead to slippery conditions with black ice in some areas,
especially on untreated roads.
If you are driving overnight, please exercise caution for slippery
conditions! If a road looks wet, it could be icy. Reduce speed,
increase following distance with any vehicles in front of you,
and avoid using cruise control.
