Special Weather Statement issued December 18 at 2:56AM EST by NWS Melbourne FL
Satellite imagery and surface observations indicate an area of fog
is leading to reduced visibilities at or below one half of a mile
across much of Lake and across portions of inland Volusia
counties. This fog is expected to encroach upon Orange and
Seminole counties before sunrise, particularly in communities
near and to the northwest of Interstate 4.
If you encounter fog while driving, slow down, use low beam
headlights, and increase following distance. The fog is expected
to linger through the early morning commute before gradually
lifting within an hour or two after sunrise.
