Winter Weather Advisory issued December 15 at 1:54PM EST until December 16 at 7:00AM EST by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of
one half to 2 inches, along with a light glaze of ice, mainly on
the ridgetops.
* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The precipitation will turn to plain rain as
the temperatures rise above freezing overnight. The heaviest snow
and freezing rain accumulations will be on the ridge tops. The
valleys will turn to rain earlier than the ridges.
Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road
conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by
calling 5 1 1.
