Lake Effect Snow Warning issued December 12 at 1:59PM EST until December 13 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations up to
7 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE...Northern Erie and Southern Erie Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highest snowfall totals will be across the
northern portion of the county with totals quickly diminishing
south.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
