Description
Trailside Village, a new development along Sullivan Trail, is starting work on their Norfolk Southern crossing permit. The attached map shows Sullivan Trail in green and the work area in yellow.
The work requires core borings. Norfolk Southern requires each boring to be completed once started which means working into the night or over the weekend, especially if they hit rock.
The work is scheduled to begin Monday, December 16th and end by December 24th to resume again on January 6, 2025.
NFS has inspectors on site the entire time and flaggers as required by the rail line for train traffic.
