Special Weather Statement issued December 5 at 3:12AM EST by NWS State College PA

HAZARDS...A snow squall accompanied by winds of up to 30 MPH which
can rapidly reduce visibility to less than one mile.

LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 312 AM EST, a snow squall was along a line
extending from near Mifflinburg to near Shippensburg to near Hancock
and moving east at 40 MPH.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
Harrisburg, Chambersburg, Carlisle, Lower Allen, Colonial Park,
Waynesboro, Progress, Mechanicsburg, Camp Hill, Gettysburg, New
Cumberland, Linglestown, Enola, Steelton, Selinsgrove, Shippensburg,
Lemoyne, Greencastle, Hampton, and Guilford.

This includes the following Interstates...
The Pennsylvania Turnpike from mile markers 205 to 245.
Interstate 81 from mile markers 1 to 75.
Interstate 83 from mile markers 36 to 50.
Interstate 283 near mile marker 2.

Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this squall.
Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads may lead to
accidents.
