Special Weather Statement issued November 29 at 2:15PM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 215 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking snow showers. The snow
was moving east-northeast at about 20 MPH.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Morgantown,
Monroeville, McMurray, Greensburg, McKeesport, Uniontown,
Jeannette, Latrobe, Connellsville, Waynesburg, Westover, Star
City, Gastonville, Plum, West Mifflin and Baldwin.
Visibilities may drop quickly to a quarter of a mile in the heavier
snow showers. Wind gusts of up to 30 MPH are also possible.
Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
