Winter Storm Warning issued November 27 at 9:45PM EST until November 29 at 1:00AM EST by NWS Albany NY
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and
10 inches with locally higher amounts.
* WHERE...Portions of eastern New York.
* WHEN...From 1 AM Thursday to 1 AM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact Thanksgiving travel.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest snowfall amounts are expected at
elevations mainly above 1000 feet. Snowfall rates could exceed 1
inch per hour at times especially during the afternoon hours.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for
