Winter Storm Watch issued November 27 at 2:45AM EST until November 29 at 1:00AM EST by NWS Albany NY
* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 7 inches
or more are possible.
* WHERE...In New York, the Mohawk Valley, eastern Catskills, and
Helderbergs. In Vermont, Bennington and Windham Counties.
* WHEN...From late tonight through late Thursday night.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact travel around
the Thanksgiving holiday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heaviest snow will fall above 1000 feet
elevation. Valley locations may stay warm enough to limit snow
accumulation.
