Description
Manchester Township is seeking a qualified resident to serve on the Manchester Township Zoning Hearing Board. Members of the Zoning Hearing Board are residents who serve an initial three-year term and/or the completion of an unfulfilled term. The open term is from January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2028.
The Zoning Hearing Board is empowered to rule on various issues regarding the provisions of the township's zoning ordinance. The decisions of this quasi-judicial body are binding and can only be challenged in the court system. The Zoning Hearing Board acts on the following types of requests: appeals from the decision of the Zoning Officer; special exceptions; and variances.
