Description
Paradise Township is looking for volunteers to serve on the following committees:
Park and Recreation Committee - The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board consists of five members. Each member of the board is appointed for a 5 year term of service. The board plans the community Easter Egg Hunt and Halloween Party. We are looking for two Park and Recreation Committee members. The Park and Recreation Committee meets prior to each of its annual events. (5 year term)
The Pocono Area Recreation Commission (PARC) - The Pocono Area Recreation Commission (PARC) consists of two members from Paradise Township and Barrett Township plus one at large member appointed by Barrett and Paradise Townships for a total of five. PARC is responsible for the three parks owned and maintained by the two municipalities: Skywood Park, Seven Pines Park, and Ice Lake Natural Area. (3 year term)
The Planning Commission - The Planning Commission consists of five members and acts as an advisory committee to the Board of Supervisors in matters of land planning, subdivision, and land development. (4 year term)
MUST BE A PARADISE TOWNSHIP RESIDENT.
