Tuesday, November 19, 2024 - 11:55 A.M.
This morning we received a report of a theft from a vehicle in the 700 block of Ranck Road which occurred sometime between 8 P.M. and 5 A.M. this morning. Our department will follow up and attempt to gather additional information leading to arrest.
We are aware of the theft from numerous vehicles and stolen vehicles in Elverson Borough and have been in contact with the PA State Police Embreeville to exchange information on these thefts.
We again urge all residents to remove valuables and keys along with locking their vehicles. Also close your garages and secure your sheds. From the information we are seeing it appears that they get out of their vehicle and walk up and down the street checking for unlocked cars and garages.
If you see anything out of the norm please don't hesitate calling 911 immediately.
Last evening we located the female suspect from the Walmart theft and have identified her. We are continuing to work on the male suspect identity and they are not involved in these overnight thefts.
