Monday, November 18, 2024 - 5:58 P.M.
This afternoon the Caernarvon Township Police Department responded to the Walmart Store on Crossings Blvd. for a retail theft in progress. One suspect jumped into his vehicle and fled onto South Twin Valley Road and drove all the way up to the end of that road and abandoned his vehicle. The second suspect a female fled on foot in a different direction.
Police conducted a search on foot and via ATV in the area of the woods off South Twin Valley Road, Honey Brook Township and were not able to locate the suspect.
The male suspect who appears to be either a black or Hispanic, wearing a dark colored baseball cap, two tone jacket with some type of patches on the front of the jacket, dark colored sweat shirt with the hood pulled up, dark sun glasses, gray pants with dark socks pulled up over the calf.
The female suspect was wearing a dark colored sweat shirt with hood pulled up and dark colored pants.
The Caernarvon Township Police Department have impounded the vehicle as evidence.
We believe that the suspect has fled through the woods along the top of the mountain behind Mountain View and Pennwood Developments. We ask anyone that see's a male matching this description to call 911. We again residents to make sure that there vehicles are secured.
