Fire Weather Watch issued November 14 at 3:23PM EST until November 16 at 6:00PM EST by NWS Albany NY
The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Fire Weather
Watch for the possibility of a combination of gusty winds, low
relative humidity and dry fuels.
* Affected Area...The Capital District, eastern Catskills, mid
Hudson Valley, and southern Taconics.
* Timing...From 7 AM to 6 PM EST Saturday.
* Winds...Northwest 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
* Relative Humidity...As low as 20 percent.
* Temperatures...In the 50s.
* Impacts...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
Red Flag Warnings.
