REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
TO PROVIDE TREE PRUNING SERVICES
BOROUGH OF CRAFTON
I. General: The Borough of Crafton seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide professional tree pruning services for the below outlined trees located throughout the Borough.
Scope of Services: Assess and prune the below outlined trees and dispose of all debris and tree remnants. Some trees may require total removal.
Address locations for the trees in need are as follows:
• 17 Belvidere Street
• 52 Bradford
• 70 Bradford
• 7 Creighton Avenue
• 79 Duncan Avenue
• 29 N. Emily Street
• 32 S. Emily Street
• 5 N. Grandview Avenue
• 58 Hawthorne Avenue
• 68 S. Linwood Avenue
• 32 McMunn Avenue
• 38 McMunn Avenue
• 27 Oregon Avenue
• 73 Woodlawn Avenue
• 245 W. Steuben Street (2 trees)
• 247 W. Steuben Street (3 trees)
• Assess trees at Crafton Mini Golf property, Steuben and Linden
II. Term of Contract: Crafton Borough hopes to execute a service agreement as soon as possible and execute the work before the end of the year.
III. Evaluation of Proposals: All proposals will be reviewed by the Crafton Tree Commission, an entity established by ordinance and appointed by Borough Council. Only proposals submitted by certified and licensed firms will be considered.
IV. Contents of Proposals: Please submit one (1) digital copy of your proposal to the Borough of Crafton (submittal information below). The contents of which shall clearly outline a proposed scope of services, estimated costs, and a proposed schedule to perform the removals. Additionally, information about your firm and relevant certifications and expertise will also be considered.
V. Rejection of Proposals: The Borough of Crafton reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received.
VI. Deadline: All proposals must be received by 5pm on November 29, 2024.
