PO Box Customers: I want to thank everyone for the support and encouragement as we work on making this process better.
Just to be transparent I am working on getting a storage unit on site to allow us to run both letter mail and packages everyday. Until we get the storage unit we ask that packages be picked up as soon as possible due to storage.
Once again packages can be picked up at the mobile unit. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Packages (ONLY) can be picked up Monday, Wednesday, and Friday @ the Chiefland Post office.
Regular letter mail and magazines can be picked up @ the mobile unit Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
The blue collection box located in front of the post office will be open for after hour collections and will be checked daily as we leave Cedar Key starting 11/6/24.
Street Delivery customers I truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this together. Packages that we not able to be delivered and you received PS Form 3849 (Peach Slip) will still be available for pick up @ the Chiefland post office.
We are working on plans to allow us to have those available @ the mobile unit. I will update you all when that becomes available.
