FEMA Assistance Available at Three Sites in Volusia County on November 5

VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA – In response to Hurricane Milton, FEMA's Disaster Survivor Assistance (DSA) teams will be available at three locations in Volusia County from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5. These teams are equipped to aid residents affected by the hurricane in navigating FEMA's services to ensure they understand and can access the full range of available disaster assistance programs. Residents can meet with DSA staff to discuss their specific needs, learn about assistance programs, apply in person, and check the status of existing applications.

FEMA's teams will offer detailed information in areas such as temporary housing, emergency supplies, and claims for property damage. The following sites will host the teams:

• American Legion Post 120, 461 Walker St., Holly Hill
• American Legion Adam Quinn Post 6, 1087 Biscayne Blvd., DeLand
• Sunnyland Recreational Center, 825 Washington St., Daytona Beach

Applications are also available at www.disasterassistance.gov, through the FEMA mobile app, or by calling 800-621-3362 for residents who prefer to apply from home.
