Description
Flood Watch issued November 4 at 5:23PM HST until November 5 at 6:00PM HST by NWS Honolulu HI

...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FOR MAUI AND THE BIG ISLAND THROUGH
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...The island of Maui in Maui County and The Big Island.

* WHEN...Through Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Flood prone roads and other low lying areas may be
closed due to elevated runoff and overflowing streams. Urban areas
may receive more significant flooding and property damage due to
rapid runoff.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Deep tropical moisture associated with a trough of low
pressure will continue to progress westward across the state
through Tuesday. This combined with a disturbance aloft will
maintain the threat for heavy rain, flash flooding, and the
potential for a few thunderstorms, especially over windward
portions of the Big Island and Maui.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
