BURNING BAN
BY ORDERS OF THE FIRE CHIEF OF DUBOISTOWN BOROUGH, LYCOMING COUNTY, PAUL MCKINLEY, A BURNING BAN HAS BEEN DECLARED FOR ALL OF THE MUNICIPALITY. CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS HAVE FORCED THIS BAN TO BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY UNTIL WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2024, OR WE HAVE DETERMINED THE THREAT HAS BEEN ELIMINATED. THIS BAN WILL BE RE-EVALUATED ON NOVEMBER 20, 2024, IF NOT EARLIER DEPENDING ON CONDITIONS,
NO OPEN OUTDOOR BURNING IS PERMITTED, THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO ANY COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS SUCH AS PAPER, GRASS, TWIGS, WOOD, OR VEGETATIVE MATERIAL, WHETHER IN A CONTAINER OR ON THE GROUND. RECREATIONAL BURNING IS ALSO PROHIBITED.
VIOLATORS MAY FACE LEGAL PUNISHMENT AND FINES.
