Friendly reminder the Forks Township Fire Chief has a burn ban in place for our community due to the high fire danger due to the extremely dry weather we have been experiencing. During Trick or Treat on Halloween many families traditionally have an outdoor fire burning. Due to the burn ban this will not be permitted on Halloween unless your fuel source is either liquid propane or natural gas in an outdoor fireplace. Your Forks Firefighters would rather be driving the township handing out candy to the little ghosts and goblins then fighting a fire. Thank you for your cooperation in helping keep our township safe.
