Description
Flood Watch issued October 26 at 3:49PM HST until October 27 at 6:00PM HST by NWS Honolulu HI

...FLOOD WATCH FOR ALL HAWAIIAN ISLANDS THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...All the main Hawaiian islands.

* WHEN...Through Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Flood prone roads and other low lying areas may be
closed due to elevated runoff and overflowing streams. Urban areas
may receive more significant flooding and property damage due to
rapid runoff.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A low aloft will move closer to and over the islands this
evening through Sunday, resulting in continued unstable
conditions. Given ample moisture and instability, heavy
showers and thunderstorms will continue to be possible,
particularly over windward areas. Periods of heavy showers
over already saturated ground could quickly lead to runoff
and flash flooding. Water levels in already elevated streams
could rise rapidly with additional heavy rain.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
