Freeze Watch issued October 10 at 3:04AM EDT until October 11 at 9:00AM EDT by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...For the Frost Advisory, temperatures as low as 33 degrees
will result in frost formation. For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing
temperatures as low as 30 degrees possible.
* WHERE...Cambria, Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, McKean, Potter, and
Somerset Counties.
* WHEN...For the Frost Advisory, until 9 AM EDT this morning. For
the Freeze Watch, from late tonight through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
Those with agricultural interests should protect sensitive
vegetation.
Valley locations and sheltered areas will experience the coldest
temperatures.
Potted plants should be brought inside.
