CORRECTED TO SAY SHOULD - EDIT TO NUMBER 2 - Damage Assessment Information: 2.) Commercial buildings two or more stories. The City will require a structural engineer to confirm the structural integrity of the foundation, at a minimum. It is our understanding that during the storm surge, water moved with velocity above the foundations potentially causing scour at the foundations. The scope of work for the structural engineer SHOULD include a verification of the structural integrity of load bearing members.
