Description
I will continue to be pushing the hurricane warnings, but this will be the last push for evac. There are multiple predictions that show this storm making a last bend either to the east or west. This will mostly affect the wind that we receive it will not affect the surge. If you got water from Idalia or got close, I encourage you to evacuate this morning. Once the wind and surge begin there will be no search and rescue missions until after the winds die down.
Things are going to get wet and blown around that is a given, so the goal is to not have any loss of life or other safety issues.
Be safe and take care of one another. We will regroup and review the damage after the wind goes down. At that time the barricades will go up. Residents will be let in once road conditions are safe and search and rescue have completed any missions.
