Flood Watch issued September 25 at 1:40PM EDT until September 27 at 8:00AM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...East central Florida, including the following areas,
Indian River, Martin, Saint Lucie, Volusia, Brevard, Lake,
Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, and Seminole Counties.

* WHEN...Through Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive rainfall from Hurricane Helene may result in
flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and
flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and
urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Hurricane Helene will bring repeated rounds of heavy rainfall
to east central Florida through Thursday night, leading to
the potential for urban, rural and low-land flooding.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
