Good evening Harrison Township and Highlands School District families,
We wanted to follow up on the One-Call that was sent out by Highlands School District earlier this afternoon. Harrison Township Police Department worked throughout the evening to identify the individual or individuals responsible for this threat. With the cooperation and ongoing assistance of the Tarentum Borough Police Department, we have identified the individual responsible for this threat and the individual will be facing charges. At this time we have no reason to believe additional hazards exist. Students will still see an increased police presence at School District buildings tomorrow only as an added precaution.
