Description
PennDOT announced that districtwide pavement preservation project is set to continue next week on Interstate 81 in Franklin County and Interstate 83 in York County. Weather permitting, work will be performed on I-81 between Exit 14 (Route 316/Wayne Avenue) and Exit 20 (Route 997/Scotland) in Franklin County. The contractor will work from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM beginning the night of Monday, September 23. Work at this location will be for two or three nights. There will be lane restrictions in both directions of I-81.
Once this work is completed, the contractor will work the same hours on I-83 in York County from Exit 33 (Route 392/Yocumtown) to Exit 28 (Route 297/Strinestown/Zions View). There will be lane restrictions in both directions of I-83. This work could take approximately two weeks to complete. Please see the PDF for all the details and a map.
