Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued September 6 at 6:48PM EDT until September 6 at 7:15PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 648 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Evans City, or
6 miles north of Cranberry, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Cranberry, Butler, Homeacre-Lyndora, Shanor-Northvue, Meridian,
Zelienople, Meadowood, Oak Hills, Sarver, Evans City, Saxonburg,
Nixon, Prospect, Harmony, East Butler, Connoquenessing and Callery.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
