Hatboro Borough is proud to be a part of the Montco RF100 municipalities, which include Abington, Ambler, Bridgeport, Cheltenham, Conshohocken, Lower Gwynedd, Lower Merion, Lower Providence, Montgomery, Narberth, Norristown, Plymouth, Springfield, Upper Dublin, Upper Merion, West Norriton, Whitemarsh, and Whitpain.
We are proud to be a part of this and being a leading member of the Ready for 100% Clean Energy municipalities who goal in a recently adopted resolution to transition to clean energy by 2035 for electricity and 2050 for heat and transportation.
With the recent addition of Lower Providence Township, the group is comprised of 19 municipalities in the county which have set this goal comprising 50% of Montgomery county's population. Across Pennsylvania 47 municipalities have set similar targets.
