Excessive Heat Watch issued August 26 at 3:20PM EDT until August 28 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values near 105
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of northern Delaware, central, northern,
northwest, and southern New Jersey, and east central and southeast
Pennsylvania.
* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
