Excessive Heat Warning issued August 19 at 8:08PM CDT until August 21 at 9:00PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 116
expected.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas.
* WHEN...From 1 PM Tuesday to 9 PM CDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
