Flood Watch issued August 18 at 6:51AM EDT until August 18 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following
counties, Cameron, Clearfield, Elk and Potter.
* WHEN...Through 8 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more
heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Showers and thunderstorms today may contain heavy rain. Some
of the area received heavy rainfall on Saturday and
overnight. The wet ground and rainfall may lead to flash
flooding.
