Heat Advisory issued August 18 at 2:35AM CDT until August 19 at 8:00PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
* WHAT...Temperatures of 100 to 104 degrees and heat index values of
108 to 112 degrees expected.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the Interstate
35 corridor into the coastal plains.
* WHEN...From noon today to 8 PM CDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
