2024-2025 SLOW DOWN CAMPAIGN
BE AWARE AND DRIVE WITH CARE!
Our Goal: Encourage safe driving habits throughout Aspinwall and our neighboring communities.
The campaign coincides with the start of the Fox Chapel Area School District academic year. While the race to the official start of the schools is speeding up, Aspinwall’s Mayor Joseph Noro wants to, “make sure vehicle speeds stay low to keep residential neighborhoods safe. Operating at a safe speed and exercising good judgment on the roads, sidewalks, trails and parking lots is everyone’s responsibility.”
The program’s goals include raising awareness of driving habits, slowing people down and making traffic safety a top priority. Signs will be posted throughout the Borough reminding residents to SLOW DOWN/SAFE LIVES, SLOW DOWN/KEEP OUR KIDS ALIVE and SLOW DOWN/IT’S YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD. The Aspinwall Police will continue to monitor stop signs and speeding in town.
