Flood Warning issued August 10 at 10:43AM EDT until August 10 at 5:00PM EDT by NWS State College PA
...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Pennsylvania...
West Branch Susquehanna at Lewisburg affecting Northumberland and
Union Counties.
West Branch Susquehanna at West Milton affecting Northumberland
and Union Counties.
West Branch Susquehanna at Muncy affecting Lycoming County.
West Branch Susquehanna at Williamsport affecting Lycoming County.
West Branch Susquehanna River at Allenwood affecting
Northumberland, Union and Lycoming Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...West Branch Susquehanna at Williamsport.
* WHEN...From this morning to late this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, High water affects a few homes and some
roadways in areas not protected by the levee system. The camping
area west of Williamsport is significantly affected.
At 21.0 feet, A number of residences and roads in the area outside
the levee system are affected.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:28 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 19.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this afternoon to a crest of 20.1 feet this afternoon. It
will then fall below flood stage this afternoon.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
19.7 feet on 08/19/1994.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
This warning will be in effect until the river falls below its flood
stage.
