Flood Warning issued August 9 at 11:28PM EDT until August 10 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS State College PA

...The National Weather Service in State College PA has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Pennsylvania...

West Branch Susquehanna River at Allenwood affecting
Northumberland, Lycoming and Union Counties.

West Branch Susquehanna at Williamsport affecting Lycoming County.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...West Branch Susquehanna at Williamsport.

* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon to tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, High water affects a few homes and some
roadways in areas not protected by the levee system. The camping
area west of Williamsport is significantly affected.
At 21.0 feet, A number of residences and roads in the area outside
the levee system are affected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:15 PM EDT Friday the stage was 15.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.0
feet early tomorrow afternoon.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
