Flood Watch issued August 9 at 1:58PM EDT until August 9 at 6:00PM EDT by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following
counties, Lancaster, Lebanon, Schuylkill and York.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM EDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- The heavy rain is moving out to the east. There will be
creeks and streams continue to rise and could create new
flooding, but many areas should see the water start to recede
from the smaller streams and creeks shortly. Large waterways,
especially the Susquehanna River, will see significant rises
through the weekend.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
