The National Weather Service in State College has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Central Lycoming County in north central Pennsylvania...
* Until 230 PM EDT.
* At 1234 PM EDT, emergency management reported ongoing flooding in
Trout Run and across much of the Route 15 corridor.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Trout Run, Williamsport, Montoursville, Duboistown, Cogan Station,
Loyalsockville, Elimsport, Collomsville, Buttonwood, South
Williamsport, Garden View, Little League World Series Complex and
Williamsport Airport.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
In hilly terrain, low water crossings are potentially dangerous in
heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate
route.
