Flood Warning issued August 9 at 12:06PM EDT until August 9 at 1:30PM EDT by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following
county, York.
* WHEN...Until 130 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1205 PM EDT, Flooding from ongoing and earlier rain is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
York, Spry, Shiloh, East York, Stonybrook-Wilshire, West
York, Grantley, Valley Green, Tyler Run-Queens Gate, Valley
View, Manchester, Emigsville, Glen Rock, North York, Yorklyn,
Jacobus, Mount Wolf, Railroad, Loganville and Goldsboro.
